About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, ongoing Health Promotion Officer, working as part of the Health Promotion team at DHSV. The primary focus of the role is supporting the implementation and delivery of the Smiles 4 Miles program, as well as developing oral health promotion projects targeting preschool aged children and their families in high risk areas across Victoria.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering oral health promotion programs and projects.
  • Developing and managing collaborative partnerships.
  • Building capacity of partners to ensure success of the program in local communities.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Qualification in health promotion, public health, health or social sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives.
  • Excellent skills in building relationships and working collaboratively with key stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of the early childhood service sector desirable.
