We are a new Sydney based novel manufacturing, supply and service organisation centred around the gastroenterology space.
Due to rapid growth and innovation we require an experienced Project Manager to construct and run a GMP manufacturing faculty and Next Gen DNA sequencing diagnostic laboratory to supply pharmaceuticals and services to Australia and abroad.
Reporting to the board of directors, you will manage the fit out process, procurement of equipment and establish the facility to meet GMP manufacturing standards and NATA accretion, overall production schedules and overall business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan, organise and manage the fit out process to meet GMP standards and company requirements.
- Ensure implementation of GMP and good quality practices in manufacturing and assure compliance to regulatory standards. Manage records and documentation and participate in the auditory processes.
- Manage day to day operation of DNA sequencing facility,
- Carry out validation on all equipment and calibration to company requirements if required
- Develop and implement systems to effectively manage inventory, followed by routine stock takes, reconciliation, etc.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting as required.
- Lead, coach, and train employees in the new facility. Foster environment for empowered and high performance work culture.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Competencies and Personal Attributes are:
- Tertiary qualification in medical, pharmacy, biomedical engineering or science related discipline.
- Must have prior in depth knowledge and experience in successfully operating in a highly regulated environment.
- Expert in DNA sequencing and data analysis.
- Experience working with the TGA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in creating and reviewing technical SOP’s
- Experience in quality system processes
- Team building experienceand a desire to develop others
