Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the Life Live it! team.
Life Live it! Occupational Therapy is an established home visiting practice based in Mt Hawthorn that specialises in adult and aged care rehabilitation, home modifications and equipment prescription.
We are seeking to employ an experienced Occupational Therapist on a full time locum position. The position is initially for six months with the potential for this to continue to a permanent position.
The therapist should have a minimum of 2 years practical experience in the rehabilitation process and aged care. They should be time efficient, possess strong problem solving and clinical reasoning skills and display a commitment to service excellence. Demonstration of a high standard of communication and team work with staff, other health professionals and external agencies and the ability to work autonomously is also desired.
This role will enable the successful applicant to further develop and advance their clinical skills and participate in and contribute to regular continuing professional development activities. The therapist will work within a team of occupational therapists and administrative staff in a friendly and supportive environment with excellent conditions. The therapist will also have access to regular clinical support and supervision from senior staff.
The therapist will be required to use their own car for work with a car allowance provided with salary.
