Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and an interest in delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice?

We are want you to undertake a role within the Allied Health team at Lady Davidson Private Hospital.

As an Occupational Therapist your responsibilities will include:

Comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups
Maximise the occupational performance of patients, adopting a client-centred and goal directed approach
Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Occupational Therapy Department and hospital
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest ACHS accredited rehabilitation hospitals in Australia. The hospital specialises in Orthopaedic, Oncology, Neurological, Cardiac, Respiratory and General Medical case-mixes. Lady Davidson Hospital has large inpatient, day patient and hydrotherapy departments. The rehabilitation programs are based on a multidisciplinary team model where the occupational therapists play a vital role.

Selection Criteria:

Bachelor in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Demonstrated clinical practice skills in rehabilitation
Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills
Autonomy in work practice
Current drivers licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Great initiative and lateral problem solving skills
Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
A valid NSW C class driver’s license
