Occupational Therapist – Grade 2
Part time position available
Part Time ($38.79 - $44.59)
Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) is a 165 bed (level 1) tertiary teaching Hospital. The Hospital is managed by Ramsay Health Care in a contractual arrangement with the Victorian Government.
MBH provides public hospital services on behalf of the Victorian Government to the Community of Mildura and the Sunraysia District and is looking for Midwives to join the team.
Occupational Therapist will need to demonstrate:
- Current relevant registration with APHRA
- Be able to work across the acute , sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatients settings
- Demonstrate experience and leadership skills to nurture and guide junior therapists and students
- Demonstrate a capacity to manage a busy and diverse case load
- Deliver strong and effective communication and inter-personal skills
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Current drivers licence, working with children’s check and national police check required.
- Be available to work across the acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings of the hospital.
Out patients services may include hand therapy, neurological rehabilitation and preadmission assessment for elective orthopaedic surgery, depending on level of experience.
