Role

The Regional Manager is an exciting opportunity to establish further credibility within the market place for the quality of the service provided by Stryker. In this instance, technical capability and ongoing customer service, which indirectly improves sales opportunities within the Division.
 
You will be responsible for:

- Leading & developing a region of field service engineers
- Working within budget guidelines for the designated profit & loss account
- Ensuring that all technical repairs and testing equipment is in compliance with corporate, ISO and Australian Standards as well as all Task Instructions & Operating Procedures for the Field Engineers are up to date and in compliance with ISO and corporate principles
- Providing structure and control to ensure that customers' commitments are completed on time, within budget and to meet or exceed quality, compliance and safety standards

Please note: This position requires up to 35% of domestic travel where a flexible attitude and dedication of time is needed to meet the demands of the role external to a normal working week. This may include attending medical conferences, theatre work, company sales conferences and after hours service calls.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position you will need:
- Experience in the supervision of geographically dispersed team
- A focus on being part of a team is essential in order to assist internal and external customers
- The ability to understand complex repair processes and develop into training for Field Engineers and customers
- An analytical and logical approach to assimilating technical data and being able to impart such information to customers and repair technicians
- Inventory management experience, including spare parts ordering and experience in invoicing and cost centre management
- A high standard of written and verbal communication skills due to the diversity of internal and external customers
