Would you like a key role in providing quality services to doctors and patients? Come join our Glendale Medical Centre team in this rewarding Practice Nurse role, where you will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients, through:

Assisting the medical practitioner in delivering medical services: patient triage, acute illness, health assessments /injury management, rehabilitation and chronic disease management
- Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments, and equipment
- Identifying & contributing to the development of patient educational needs
- Implementing and practicing infection control
- Support patients to better self-manage their conditions through conducting health assessments, preparation of GP management plans and coordination of Team Care Arrangements
Do you have the qualities that we are looking for?
- Current AHPRA Nurse registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines
- A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
- A sense of urgency, compassion and professionalism
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
We have a great opportunity for you to work 3-4 days per week (approx 24+ hours) as a casual Practice Nurse. Shifts available include weekdays between the hours of 8am - 6pm. You will join a fun and professional team, with ongoing training and career opportunities through our large network of medical centres around Australia.
