An exciting opportunity has become available for a Nurse Unit Manager to work in a private clinic on the Lower North Shore.     

Key areas of responsibility includes:

• Ensure the smooth running of the clinic on a daily basis 
• Lead and manage a team of clinical staff 
• Manage staff schedules and delegate work to nurses coming on shift
• Ability to liaise with a range of staff 
• Maximise and ensure quality care of patients
• Manage budget requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• A minimum of 3 years' clinical experience working in a similar position
• Experience in Theatre/Recovery is essential
• Tertiary post graduate qualifications in management or Nursing specialty highly desirable (or working towards)
• Previous experience in management and leadership
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
