The Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a professional, hands-on, experienced Healthcare Specialist Secretary/Team Leader to join VMORE. The successful candidate will exemplify a high level of motivation, emotional intelligence and proactively work to continue the success and growth of VMORE and its valued clientele.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for overseeing the West Perth office and working virtually alongside our team in our Brisbane office.  Success in this role can lead to the company investing in your ongoing education in leadership and management, along with unique career opportunities.

The Position:

The position involves remotely managing and coordinating the day-to-day administrative requirements for multi-disciplinary specialists.  As the service is provided offsite to our clients, strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills are essential. The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining and improving the integrity of our systems
  • Maintaining a quality secretarial service to our Specialists
  • Managing day to day schedules and tasks of our Specialists
  • Providing patients with a personal approach via a virtual delivery mode
  • Be an ambassador for the company and our clientele
  • Participate in marketing activities to promote both VMORE and clientele

The Hours:

VMORE Business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.  We work collaboratively with our team and endeavour to provide flexible working conditions, subject to operational requirements. 

The Remuneration:

Remuneration will be based on experience and hours.

Applicants must:

  • Believe in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Know that going above and beyond for patients and providers can ease the confusion and stress of the patient journey
  • Demonstrate considered judgement and decision making ability
  • Be a serious multi-tasker, but manage this with a sense of humour.  
  • Ability to communicate well via telephone and digital media. 
  • Be technologically savvy or have strong computing skills
  • Be organised and have high-level attention to detail
  • Be focused on making sure the healthcare provider has all the key information at hand to provide consulting and treatment services in a timely manner
  • A MINIMUM of 1-2 years' experience in a private healthcare team leader or similar management role
  • Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • A passion for learning, technology and customer service
  • A strong understanding of the Australian healthcare system 
  • An understanding or commitment to follow 'best practice' policies and processes
  • Working knowledge of medical industry software
