Many patient’s find themselves consulting with an orthopaedic surgeon for joint replacement with no knowledge of what a good non-surgical approach can achieve. Sydney Intensive Knee Clinic was founded to provide an innovative, simple, engaging and evidence-based OA service.
Situated in the practice of orthopaedic knee surgeon’s David Parker, Myles Coolican and Brett Fritsch, the clinic commenced in January 2017, and through evolution of the business model, is now ready to expand.
About the Opportunity:
The clinic has need of a GP’s services for 1 day per week on a permanent casual or contract basis, and the role is expected to expand to 2 and possibly 3 days per week over the next year.
The successful candidate would be trained in our methodology for the treatment of knee arthritis patients.
The position starts as soon as the successful candidate is able, and reports to the Managing Director.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Consult with and treat patients as per established treatment model
- Perform knee injections
- Assist the clinic administrator to manage the clinic
- Contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experience, bettering clinical outcomes and highest level of clinical safety and quality
- Support the operations and clinical governance of the centre by providing clinical expertise and support to the Managing Director and Clinic Manager
- Facilitate operational communication with office staff and company.
