Registered Midwife Skin to Skin Employment Type: Permanent Full Time / Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Registered Midwife Remuneration: $61,090.67 - $85,781.57 Hours Per Week: 38 / 16 Requisition ID: REQ45370 To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be a current employee of NSW Health. Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing Assist with pre and peri-operative care of the woman having a Caesarean Section to enable early skin-to-skin and facilitate woman-centred preferences for care and feeding of the baby. Assist staff of the Birth Unit by attending elective Caesarean Sections and emergencies when possible. Persons engaged by Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) as participants of the 'Transition to Work Program’ for people with disabilities, within WSLHD, are exempt from the above clause.
