Church St Dental is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated receptionist/office manager to join our established clinic, with over 50 years serving the local community.
You will work alongside a friendly supportive team, to create a well-structured work environment and a great dental experience for our loyal patient base.
Experience in management in other industries (eg. retail, hospitality) will be preferred as previous HR experience is essential. There is an opportunity to have a dual role and expand your knowledge to clinical duties in the long term.
As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to complete a Certificate 3 in Dental to provide you with the appropriate qualifications for the industry.
About the role:
- Reception duties ares required- greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments
- Managing the front desk including general email/ typing/ record keeping administration, coordinating complex treatment
- Managing payments, HICAPS and Medicare claims, reconciliation of accounts
- Recalls management
- Assisting principal dentist to create rosters, miscellaneous administration tasks, perform weekly financial data entry
- Manage social media, yearly staff functions and team training.
- Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions, maintain stock control and ordering
- Long term duties expand to general clinical assistance
- HR duties including recruitment and on-boarding of new staff
What you must have:
- Previous HR experience is essential
- Long term enthusiasm and strong desire to work in the dental industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Good time management skills, can multi task and be organised
- Be able to handle stressful and busy situations
- Be available to work late nights if required
- Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Email management, Social Media knowledge and can touch type well
- Have a drivers license and own car as travel to other practices will be required
- Be willing to undertake further study
