This is a unique opportunity to join City Fertility Centre in the role of Medical Liaison Officer for the promotion of the company within the Gold Coast region (Coomera to Lismore) with an emphasis on face to face contact. The Medical Liaison will connect with general practitioners (GP), specialists, alternative health practitioners, prospective clients and the general public.
The Medical Liaison is responsible for:
- Targeting GP’s and other referral sources
- Contact with GP’s and health providers
- Client management database
- GP and public educational events and conferences (after hours/weekends).
- Marketing events and activities
- Territory management, marketing, and strategic planning
- Working with marketing and fertility advice call centre
- Reporting and data analysis
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Grade 12 certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical liaison or successful sales experience in healthcare
- Current driver’s license in the state employed
- Experience in the fertility industry and or medical sales industry preferred
- Knowledge of the Gold Coast territory and market (preferred)
- Capacity to be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills & competencies
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to create and sustain relationships
- Client management software and Microsoft Applications ( word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
- Time management skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage the assigned territory
- Mandarin (preferred but not essential)
