What you'll be doing
KOALA (Kids Oncology and Leukaemia triAls) is a Kids Cancer Alliance funded Clinical Trials Centre, based within the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. KOALA has been established to facilitate the development and conduct of multi-centre paediatric oncology clinical trials across Australia.
 
The KOALA Centre is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join a team of CRAs and Project Manager coordinating several national investigator-initiated and collaborative paediatric oncology clinical trials.

The CRA will be responsible for coordination and administration of allocated clinical trials, from protocol development through to study closure.

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or a demonstrated experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
  2. Previous experience coordinating clinical trials.
  3. Knowledge of GCP/ICH Guidelines, TGA Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements and processes.
  4. Demonstrated ability to meticulously follow policies and procedures and demonstrated exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
  5. Demonstrated high level ability in the use of computer applications and databases.
  6. Demonstrated ability to be work both self-directed and in a team.
  7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proactively.
