The Roles
We have casual vacancies for Pharmacy Technicians to join our team at the Metropolitan Remand Centre located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
The Pharmacy Technician role includes the distribution and assisting in the preparation and dispensing processes for prescribed medications, managing medication inventory and ordering supplies.
The People
While previous experience in Correctional Health is not essential as we will provide training, the successful applicant will have:
- Certificate III in Health - Hospital Pharmacy Technician
- A minimum of one year full time experience as a pharmacy technician (retail, hospital or correctional health)
- Effective communication, interpersonal, team orientated and organisational skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy
- Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the workplace
- Neat and professional appearance at all times
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, trustworthiness and responsibility
