AREA MANAGER - KATHERINE - NORTHERN TERRITORY
St John Ambulance (NT) Inc. operates the Territory's ambulance service. We are seeking a suitable qualified individual to fullfil the role of Area Manager in Katherine.
The Area Manager position assumes the full responsibility of the provision of ambulance services within the Katherine operational location. This position is to effectively manage the regions available resources including personnel, vehicle and equipment. Ensure public relations are maintained at the highest possible level maintaining necessary local interaction and contributing to the volunteer program. The Area Manager is pivotal in the establishment and maintenance of effective relationships with primary healthcare providers, allied emergency services and other relevant stakeholders.
A suitably qualified Paramedic with management skills and experience is required to support the Regional Manager, Northern in supervising paramedics on a day to day basis.
The Applicant:-
- Hold a current Authority to Practice with a CAA approved Emergency Ambulance Service or recognised Ambulance Service from a regulatory system.
- 3 + years experience as a Qualified Paramedic.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management or supervisory skills within an emergency service industry.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to communicate professionally and accurately to a high level.
- Experience working in remote locations
