Your opportunity
We are looking for a Psychologist or and Rehab Counsellor to join our high performing team in the role of Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant at our Tamworth branch.
Working with people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury, you will be responsible for assessing their needs, then developing and implementing strategies to enable a safe return to work with a new employer as part of their rehabilitation. This will include providing job seeking and candidate marketing services (and other similar services), to assist your client successfully locate new employment.
Like our best performers, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.
You will also have:
- Allied Health Qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
- Associate or Full membership with ASORC or RCAA (For Rehab Counsellors); or
- Provisional or full membership with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation, desired but not essential. New grads welcome!
- Experience working within Employment Services/ Job Seeking (highly regarded)
- An appetite for learning and desire to set the foundation for your career
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
- The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
- Current driver's license and motor vehicle
