Due to growth in our services an exciting new position has been created.
This position works closely with the General Manager Home Care Services to ensure quality service provision of home care services and driving the strategic plan for growth and retention of clients at mecwacare. This role oversees CHSP, HACC and other direct to government funded services, staff management and complaints management.   The position will support Centre Managers at each site to ensure consistent processes and practices related to service delivery and drive continuous improvement in line with mecwacare policies and procedures and organisational practice.
 
To be successful within this position you will possess:
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and follow through to completion while demonstrating initiative, attention to detail and accountability;
  • Sound financial management skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • High level problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in order to achieve the organisations objectives;
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to implement change
  • Ability to work appropriately with IT applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Community Care sector, CHSP, HACC, NDIS management; and
  • Experience with continuous improvement and risk management systems and processes.
 
Desirable:
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role;
 
Special Requirements:
  • On call is a requirement of this role.
