This role is responsible for providing clinical support to service providers, students and organisational management. It's a key role in cohealth's continuous quality improvement framework. You'll be responsible for leading clinical decision making with OTs and supporting access to clinical supervision models. cohealth's Senior Managers and Program Managers will continue to manage all other facets of employee performance and will work closely with the Practice Lead to formulate and consolidate appropriate service standards and interventions. Although this role is positioned in the Child, Youth, Family and Aged Care Directorate you will be expected to act as a clinical resource across cohealth.

 

To be successful within this role, you'll need to possess;

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, with demonstrated experience and knowledge of contemporary and evidence based Occupational Therapy practice;
  • Management, leadership, team building and organisational skills as well as flexibility in work and thought processes to be able to multi-task on a variety of diverse work activities;
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving and an ability to innovate and implement organisational change;
  • The ability to foster a service culture characterised by partnership and collaboration within the team, program, across cohealth and with key stakeholders and clients;
  • An understanding and commitment to effective clinical governance and continuous quality improvement; and
  • A curious and positive approach to your work life, continuously striving to contribute to the growth and development of cohealth as a provider of choice.

This position will be paid under the Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Centres, Health Professionals Multi-Employer Agreement 2012 - 2016. Senior Clinician Occupational Therapist, Grade 3
