Fixed Term Part Time
Applications are now open to candidates anticipating initial registration as a Registered Nurse in 2019 to join the Monash Health Graduate Program –Nursing Streams. This includes Acute, Complex and August Streams.
Please note that to apply for the Nursing Streams you must be eligible to participate in Post Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Computer Match.
The Graduate Program – Nursing Streams offers:
- A twelve month structured program to consolidate your skills
- Two (2) six-month rotations with an extensive range of specialty areas on offer including Emergency, Intensive Care, Peri-operative, Renal and Haemodialysis, Residential and Rehabilitation, Cardiac and Paediatric and Newborn Complex Care, Respiratory, General Medical, General Surgical Oncology/Palliative Care, Gastroenterology, Stroke, Acute Rehabilitation, Day Treatment Centre, Upper GI Surgical, Vascular, Orthopaedics, ENT, Women’s Health, Neurosurgery, Plastics, Outpatients, Paediatrics- Surgical, Paediatrics- Medical and Special Care Nursery
- Fixed term, 12 month graduate contract
- Part-time hours (0.84 EFT; 64 hours per fortnight)
- Five (5) weeks annual leave pro rata over twelve (12) months
This program has a clinical commencement date of February 4, 2019 with a comprehensive orientation program conducted in January 2019.

- Register with PMCV Computer Matching service. You will be required to provide your PMCV Candidate ID number when submitting your application to us.

1. Monash Health Graduate Program Application Template
Please find a copy of the Monash Health Graduate Program Application Template in the ‘Position Documents’ section of this job advertisement. Please save, complete and upload a copy of this template under the ‘Resume’ field when you submit your application documents in the Monash Health e-Recruit system.
2. Academic transcript
As part of your application you will need to submit a certified copy of your most recent official academic transcript. Please upload your transcript under the "Education Certificate" field when you submit your application documents in the Monash Health e-Recruit system.
3. Clinical Appraisals
Upload certified copies of your two (2) most recent clinical summative appraisal documents/tools under the ‘Other Documents’ field when you submit your application documentation. Monash Health accepts online appraisals that have been digitally certified by education providers.
4. Monash Health Fit2Work Form and Working with Children’s Check
You can find a copy of the Fit2Work form in the ‘Position Documents’ section of the job advertisement. The ‘Monash Health Fit2work’ form and 100 points of certified identification must be scanned and uploaded into the specified ‘Fit2work Form’ field in the Monash Health e-Recruit system when submitting your application.
A current ‘Employee’ Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for all successful graduate applicants.
