Applications are now open to candidates who are anticipating initial registration as a Registered Nurse and or Midwife in 2019 and are Ineligible for Post Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Computer Match to join the Monash Health Graduate Program.

The Monash Health Graduate Program offers Nurses and or Midwives:

Nurses:

  • A twelve month structured program to consolidate your skills
  • Two (2) six-month rotations with an extensive range of acute and specialty areas on offer
  • Fixed term, 12 month graduate contract
  • Part-time hours (0.84 EFT; 64 hours per fortnight)
  • Five (5) weeks annual leave pro rata over twelve (12) months

Nurses and or Midwives:

  • A twelve month structured program to consolidate your skills;
  • Four (4) three-month rotations within a 12-month program
    • Two (2) birth suite rotations
    • Two (2) post/antenatal rotations or if double degree one (1) of these will be a nursing rotation in a wide range of acute clinical areas
  • Fixed term, 12 month graduate contract
  • Part-time hours (0.84 EFT; 64 hours per fortnight)
  • Five (5) weeks annual leave pro rata over twelve (12) months

This program has a clinical commencement date of February 4th, 2019 with a comprehensive orientation program conducted in January 2019, unless an August commencement date is preferenced.

2. Academic transcript

As part of your application you will need to submit a certified copy of your most recent official academic transcript. Please upload your transcript under the ‘Education Certificate’ field when you submit your application documents in the Monash Health e-Recruit system.

3. Clinical Appraisals

Upload certified copies of your two (2) most recent clinical summative appraisal documents/tools under the ‘Other Documents’ field when you submit your application documentation. Monash Health accepts online appraisals that have been digitally certified by education providers.

4. Monash Health Fit2Work Form

You can find a copy of the Fit2Work form in the ‘Position Documents’ section of the job advertisement. The ‘Monash Health Fit2work’ form and 100 points of certified identification must be scanned and uploaded into the specified ‘Fit2work Form’ field in the Monash Health e-Recruit system when submitting your application.
