About The Opportunity

They are now looking for a Case Manager to join their company in Canberra, ACT.

In this role, you will utilise practice guidelines, participate in program delivery and development, participate in community meetings, and facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups such as anger management and relapse prevention. You will be responsible for preparing case notes and treatment plans, produce a range of reports, maintain client records, participate in staff meetings and assist with general office and driving duties. This position involves working within a correctional facility. 

About You 

The successful candidate will have

  • Knowledge and experience in casework practice and a solid understanding of AOD client issues
  • Demonstrated experience with group work
  • Certificate IV in alcohol and other drugs or equivalent (desirable)
  • WWVP clearance and a current police check 
  • Experience working within a corrective services setting (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the therapeutic community model (desirable)
  • Strong computer literacy and proven skills in record keeping, report writing and data processing 
  • A current drivers licence and first aid certificate
