Adelaide Day Surgery is a free standing Day Surgery, which provides Operating Room facilities for Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Oral and General.  We are committed to innovation, excellence and world's best practice in Day Surgery and are looking for an experienced CSSD Manager.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Updates department policies and procedures annually

• Participates in maintaining ISO accreditation by assisting in the auditing and reporting process.

• Demonstrates a commitment to ADS' Infection Control Policy

• Manages the CSSD team and provide support, guidance and positive role modelling

• Consistently works within AS4187

• To ensure that the sterilization services delivered are at the highest possible standard and in accordance with AS4187 and appropriate State and National standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Holds a Certificate III in Health- Sterilizing Practice for Technicians or equivalent awarded by a registered training organization that has been approved by the AIC.

• Holds or currently working towards a Certificate IV in Health Services (Supervision)

• An understanding of ISO and full knowledge of AS4187

• Provide excellence in care by adhering to Infection Control guidelines

• Excellent communication and illiterate skills including computer literacy
