About the Role:
Based at the Mater Hospital, this position reports to the Area Manager and is available in a full-time capacity with on call and rostered weekend requirements. The Pharmacy Manager will lead and co-ordinate clinical and operational activities through the development of pharmacy team and will be accountable for budgetary and clinical performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the clinical and operational pharmacy service ensuring all professional responsibilities are met
- Dispensing of prescriptions
- Providing advice on drug selection and usage
- Liaise with hospital staff
- Educate staff and counsel patients on proper use of medicines.
- Provide routine clinical pharmacy services including chart reviews
- Participation in hospital committees
- Some reporting functions
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA
- Hospital experience is desirable but NOT essential
- Enjoy working and contributing within a small team environment
- Have a high level of planning and organisation ability
- Be focused on delivering a high standard of customer service
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit the ability to work independently
- Able to deal sensitively with client needs.
