About the Role
We are seeking to fill three new part time (approximately three days/week) Clinician positions in our team in Burnie. The Clinicians will be responsible for providing clinical knowledge and expertise in the form of clinical assessment, care planning, intervention and clinical case management to support our clients. The Clinicians will work within a professional multi-disciplinary team that supports clients with multiple and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive formulations and risk assessments to inform appropriate intervention.
  • Monitor and review clients ’ progress through the service, and against the care plan and outcome measures, and provide up to date progress reports to the partner organisations and care team demonstrating client outcomes.
  • Ensure that client management systems are up to date with all relevant client and service information through the maintenance of accurate case notes, up to date care plans, reports and file information.
  • Effectively plan and organise own work effort and regularly provide feedback to the manager on their work progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the client and the care team to plan for, and develop the skills to exit or transition from the service, including referral to other services where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and assessment of the service programs and processes
Skills and Experience
  • A tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or other relevant qualification, and current full registration or eligibility for registration, with the relevant professional organisation/s
  • Demonstrated experience working in a range of settings as determined by client need and location, including outreach and off site locations that may be in rural and remote areas.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to engage and work with clients 1:1 with multiple and complex needs in an engaging, flexible, creative and client focussed recovery approach
  • Demonstrated capacity to work both as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and autonomously with multiple clients to provide wrap around clinical intervention and case management
  • Highly developed analytical skills and demonstrated experience in carrying out clinical assessments, developing care plans, and intervention with clients, using a range of evidence based psychological interventions.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and hold Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People Registration.
