DPV Health is a Primary Health Service that provides a range of primary health, dental, disability, population health and social support services to the growing communities of the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Position
The purpose of this position is to provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to clients across DPV Health program areas and will include the provision of support to community based clients to maintain or improving functional abilities and independence.
The Occupational Therapist will work within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to team based care plans to support achievement of individual client goals with a focus on self-management and maximising client involvement in managing their health. The role will be required to work across both the HACC/CHSP and NDIS funded services at DPV Health both services and home based.
Key Selection Criteria
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and eligibility for the Australian Association of Occupational Therapy, as well as experience working with community based clients and clients with a disability. A Drivers licence and Working with Children’s Check is essential for this role.
