St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne has extended its trusted, state of the art health care services to Melbourne’s west, and our Werribee facility has been open since January 2018.
St Vincent's Private Werribee is a not-for-profit, private Catholic hospital. We provide you with the highest quality healthcare, modern facilities and the latest technology. St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee is the fourth hospital to open under the umbrella of St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne, a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
The Services available in our Werribee private hospital include obstetrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, ear nose and throat, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, gynaecology, general surgery, vascular, rehabilitation and oncology/infusions. Facilities include operating theatres, a day procedure unit, a cardiac catheter laboratory, oncology/infusion unit, 2 wards, delivery suites and a level 1 special care nursery and newly opened rehabilitation gymnasium.
We are seeking enthusiastic, innovative and patient-care orientated Registered Nurses to join us at our contemporary new health care facility. We have full time, part time and casual opportunities now available. We are looking for Registered Nurses who specialise in one or more of the following areas:
- Cardiac
- Oncology
- Paediatrics
- Rehabilitation
- Maternity
- General Surgical
The successful applicant will be responsible for;
- Taking full responsibility for planning and delivering of nursing care to patients
- Will make decisions regarding patient care and patient management
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care
It is essential that the successful applicant has the following;
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Willing to be flexible according to departmental needs and will be able to work across all areas
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office products
- Proficiency in email software and electronic communication
- Willingness to undertake further studies or to pursue other self-development activities
