Northcare Physio has eleven clinics located in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and Northern Territory in metropolitan and regional locations.
Our skilled physiotherapists specialise in a broad range of treatment services and are supported by a team of enthusiastic staff. Our philosophy is to provide a high quality physiotherapy service, with adequate time to ensure effective treatment.
We are seeking a physiotherapist for a full-time position, 38 hours per week, to provide quality care to private and compensable clients with sports, spinal, peripheral and post-surgical conditions at our Salisbury Plain (SA) clinic.
Experience in pilates and disability is highly desirable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent physiotherapy services - assessment/examination, diagnosis, individualised and planned interventions, the use of safe and current techniques/modalities
- Comprehensive documentation and communication to achieve and maintain improved functional outcomes for clients in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards
- Monitor and re-evaluate client's progress towards goals and outcomes
- Participate in clients with Medicare EPC Programs and NDIS Plans
- Conduct functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic and workplace assessments
- Formulate comprehensive Rehabilitation Programs
- Pilates - classes and individual sessions
- Hydrotherapy- classes and individual sessions
- Respond to the needs of a broad range of clients with varying conditions
- Establish and maintain relationships with medical practitioners and clinicians
- Compliance with privacy and working with children legislation
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration (no restriction)
- Pilates experience (essential)
- Disability experience (desirable)
- Womens Health (desirable)
- Current Australian drivers license (clean)
- Current National Police and Working with Children Checks
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated effective skills in listening, providing advice and professional opinion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people
- Self-motivated; the ability to function independently
- Socially perceptive; aware of reactions of others and understanding of those reactions
