An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the GSK respiratory sales team in Victoria as a Hospital Sales Representative promoting some of GSK’s leading brands primarily focused on Asthma and COPD. This role will see you servicing Central Melbourne and Northern region with country travel required twice a quarter. Reporting into a First Lines Sales Manager you will play a critical role in engaging with key specialists, clinicians and health care professionals in the respiratory field.
You will be part of a highly-motivated team focused on making a real and meaningful difference to deliver positive patient outcomes. Your successful track record in sales and results-driven focus will ensure your success this role.
About the role:
- Identify, build and develop relationships with key specialists, clinicians & health care professionals in the respiratory field:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan and deliver on brand strategy;
- Support the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market;
- Provide a science led and value-added service for customers that supports best treatment outcomes for patients;
- Account management of hospitals within the territory.
- Work in partnership with GSK GP representatives, commercial and medical teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives.
About you:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical sales role with an understanding of the VIC hospital environment.
- Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders.
- An aptitude for science with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format.
- A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Tenacity, resilience and leadership attributes.
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with strong commercial acumen, account management and a desire to make a difference. We are also open to considering candidates from various backgrounds including FMCG, Consumer, medical devices or hospital consumable sales.
