We are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an Emergency CMO to join one of the largest health facilities which boarders three states and is situated in rural NSW. This hospital has an acute, teaching facility of 100+ beds with general medical, surgical, obstetric, paediatric and psychiatric beds, as well as theatre, palliative care, intensive and coronary care units. Support services include specialist clinics, supported by VMO specialist staff, radiology and pathology departments.
The hospital is fitted with a modern well-equipped 24-hour Emergency Department which has approximately 24,000 annual attendances. The Local Health District is committed to providing a dynamic work environment for health professionals. Health professionals are supported to maintain contact with colleagues and have opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills through regular, supported practice in tertiary settings in other Local Health Districts. It is also a the base of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
This district has many attractions, interesting sights and surprisingly rich social and cultural life which the local area offers. Daily flights within the area to major capital cities will help you stay connected with family, friends, leisure interests and professional ties.
