Ryde Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre will provide a supportive learning environment to enable you to develop skills within a variety of clinical areas such as the Acute medical and Rehabilitation . Ryde Hospital is a 148 bed acute facility within metropolitan Sydney. Services offered to the local community include Emergency Department, High Dependency Unit, Acute Surgical, Medical and Cardiology Services, Rehabilitation, Midwifery Group Practice and Operating Theatres. The Emergency Department sees approximately 27,000 presentations per year. The department has 8 acute beds, 2 resuscitation beds, 4 EMU (Emergency Medical Unit) beds and a fast track area. What you'll be doing Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome. Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability. A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
