About the role
In this full time fixed term Grade 2 Acute Physiotherapy position, you will primarily be responsible for the provision of physiotherapy to patients in the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) and Emergency Department (ED) at Dandenong Hospital. You will be supported by a large, progressive and dynamic Physiotherapy department including Gr 4 Medicine Physiotherapist, as well as experienced AAU and ED multidisciplinary teams including Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists and Care Coordinators. About you/what you bring to us
You are passionate about providing a consistently high level of patient care, excited to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment and you can demonstrate the following:
- recent clinical experience in the Emergency Department, Acute Assessment Unit and acute inpatient physiotherapy
- autonomous decision making
- advanced clinical reasoning skills; and
- experience in clinical education and supervision
With your caring and engaging manner you may work over a variety of sites with some weekend work expected.
