The Role
Advance your professional development as an Occupational Therapist by stepping up into a new and exciting position. Work collaboratively with families and children from school aged and older, with a disability or developmental delay.
Enjoy an autonomous, job satisfying position and undertake functional assessments and determine the appropriate early intervention supports, including pathways and linkages, through an individually funded NDIS plan.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate skills and / or experience to support your work as an Occupational Therapist as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, supporting children and their families in the Northern region.
To be considered, you must have / be:
- Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Early Childhood Early Intervention experience – highly desirable
- Enthusiastic and passionate about helping children and supporting families;
- Demonstrate a knowledge of therapeutic treatment in paediatric or adolescent occupational therapy
- Confidence in communicating with parents, educators, and other professionals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
