The Opportunity:
For a full time General Surgeon with an interest in Breast Surgeon.
Role Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinics and elective surgery for routine general surgery cases.
- Assessment of new referrals and follow up review of patients at the dedicated breast outpatient clinic. Contribute to operative management of Breast Surgery cases.
- Participate in the after hours on call roster and emergency surgical workload for general surgery.
- The position may also include outreach clinics and surgery at surrounding rural hospitals.
- As the Townsville Hospital and Health Service s a teaching hospital, the role includes supervision and teaching of Registrars, Resident Medical Officer's and medical students.

- Total remuneration package value up to $390,711 - $427,223 p.a. (Level of appointment is dependent upon experience and advanced qualifications).
- Base salary range of $171,044 to $117,037 p.a. (L18-L27)

The successful applicant must posess:
- Mandatory: Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Queensland as a Specialist in General Surgery.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
