The purpose of the Program Manager is to oversee the program operation and its integrity and to ensure the highest level of service delivered to the client/participant. As a Program manager you will work collaboratively with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure highest level of support to the clinical team and to liaise with stakeholders/community to deliver/design ethical and effective programs while working in accordance to legislations, policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and develop goals and framework based on trends and collected data to provide efficient systems.
As a Program Manager you are responsible for:
- Operational and strategic planning based on desired outcomes
- Collaborate with the Clinical Lead, identify and design training and workshops
- Identify key stakeholders in local community
- Design, implement, review and redeploy framework/system based on current needs for the clients
- Monitor and improve procedures, policies and processes, while abiding by legislations and agreement of the program
- Troubleshooting and amendments to barriers/challenges
- Manage, improve and develop referral systems with key stakeholders daily
- Provide guidance and advice on the program and the model to all staff
Required experience:
- Sound experience with a multi-disciplinary program or programs
- Proven skills in delivering quality service with based on budgets
- Proven experience in managing staff, designing programs and strategic planning
- Inclusive, ethical and effective operational skills including key stakeholder management
- Ability to understand legislations, procedures and policies and to make accurate amendments to the process based on agreed program outcomes
- Practical experience with clinical and therapeutic programs, particularly with perpetrator programs
As a successful candidate you must have:
- Master degree in Social Work or Psychology, preferably with Clinical endorsement or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
- Full AHPRA registration
- Extensive experience with family violence, crisis intervention and children/youth cognitive therapy
- Proven record of delivering successful program within the complex mental health realm
- Proven skills in effective communication, interpretation of outlined agreement of the program and effective stakeholder management
- Exceptional fund management
