About the position

 

The position will require an "All Rounder" who is able to facilitate the day to day running of a busy family chiropractic practice. This is a varied role requiring a 'switched on' individual who can take responsibility for all aspects of our reception/front office including general administration and involvement in marketing and public relations projects. This position will see you rewarded and respected as a valuable member of our team.

The objective of the role is to assist in the smooth operation and continued growth of the company as well as support our clients with their health care.

Your first priority however, is to maintain exemplary client service. The ability to develop a genuine rapport with people of all ages, from babies to the elderly is essential.

The position Is for one to two shifts to begin with. There will be the opportunity to Increase those hours In the future.

Early start and later finish times are necessary. Some shifts begin as early as 8am and finish as late as 7pm and include Saturday mornings.

 

About You

 

To become a successful member of the team, you:

  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Are you self-motivated and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Learn new procedures quickly and love working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a professional telephone manner and immaculate presentation
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in the health/customer service industry (desirable)
  • Have the right to work in this country

Most of all you will display a positive, proactive, can-do attitude.

The successful applicant will be motivated, bright, organized, healthy, and willing to go the extra mile.

Your ability to be present 5-10 hours per week to begin with, there Is possibility of more hours In the future. Your flexibility with days and times is essential. 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Manage reception: greeting clients, answering phones and making calls
  • Scheduling of appointments
  • Receipting and money handling
  • Confidential management of patient files
  • General administration duties: banking, account management, word processing, and stock control
  • Liaise with and support practitioners and clients
  • Maintaining office presentation
  • Promotion of products and services

 

Full training and support is provided to ensure your success with ongoing personal and professional development involving occasional weekend seminars and interstate travel.
