What you'll be doing The Wardsperson/Porter role provides support to the nursing team in the delivery of patient care as directed by nursing staff, general assistance in wards, cleaning duties and portering for patient transfers around the facility. Selection Criteria Experience with, or willingness to be trained for, performing basic duties associated with the care of hospital patients and residents.Previous experience working in a company or organisation undertaking commercial cleaning or providing general assistance or a similar role.Experience working and communicating with people, having a friendly and respectful approach to people from all backgrounds.Ability to work as a supportive and co-operative team member sharing information and acknowledging others efforts.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.Ability to take directions from a supervisor.Ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.Current licence to drive in NSW.
