MYOTHERAPIST / REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
Wellness Centre & Cafe Camberwell
- Full Time Position available, flexible days/hours, minimum 24hrs per week
- Must be available week nights and Saturday
- Immediate Start
- Employee hourly rate or subcontractor - negotiable
The candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, passionate, dedicated & reliable.
- Strong at building customer rapport + caring and passionate
- Able to perform:
- Remedial Massage Therapist: Therapeutic Relaxation, Sports/Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Lymphatic (oedema) Massage & Aromatherapy
- Myotherapist: Myotherapy/Remedial Massage, Myofascial Cupping & Dry Needling
- Have strong knowledge of exercise prescription e.g. home corrective exercise, stretches & self myofascial release techniques.
- Confident in assessment and proactive follow-up with their patients - goal orientated
- Must have personal interest in Fitness/Exercise (lead by example)
- Confident in treating acute & chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Professional communication, presentation, customer service skills
- Attention to detail with desire to develop skills and expertise
- Able to use EFTPOS/HICAPS & Mindbody Software (Training available)
- New Graduates welcome to apply! Training & Support Available.
- HIGH Advantage additional qualifications: Certified PT / Pilates / Exercise Rehab
Requirements:
- Association Membership,
- Personal Indemnity insurances & First Aid
- Medibank & all Provider numbers
- Must be Australian Resident
- Minimum Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy
