About the role:
Programmed Health Professionals are a leading health care agency in Australia. We are currently working with a home care client in Yea, approx. 130km north of the Melbourne CBD.
This client requires personal carers for on-call and on-going, consistent shifts. Despite length of shift, you will be paid a minimum of 2 hours and a flat base rate even if you are not called out.
Staff requirements:
- Be available to take calls during the night and attend the client straight away
- Minimum of 6 months of recent carer experience
- International police check is required if you have lived overseas for 12 months or more in the past 10 years
- First aid certificate
- Own reliable transport
- Certificate III of IV in individual support/disability
- Experience working with clients with complex care needs and challenging behaviours highly desirable
