iDNA Health Pty Ltd – Perth WA
iDNA Health is an integrated DNA-based clinic offering personalised health. We provide research-based clinical programs tailored to our patients DNA. We are expanding and currently looking for two naturopaths to join the clinic in a consulting role. Experience in using genetics at a clinic level preferred, but we have an extensive in-clinic training program and clinical support material, which will quickly upskill you to be clinically proficient. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a clinic with a decade of experience in clinical genetics and presents a career pathway in this emerging field.
About the Role
You will be working with patients delivering DNA-based consults and reports; recommending nutrigenomic-based interventions for supplements, herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle; ordering genetic tests.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Naturopathic or Herbalist Degree or Diploma
- At least 2 years consulting experience preferred, but we will consider new graduates
- Professional Membership
- Health Fund Provider Numbers
- Medical and Indemnity Insurance
Selection Criteria
- Your experience in using genetic profiles at a clinical level. Indicate if you have experience in using the following: Fitgenes, My DNA, Smart DNA, 23andme.
- Outline any certification or learning you have in the area of genetics and clinical application.
- Your clinical experience with Gut Microbiome Analysis, and treating Celiac, IBD and food intolerances.
- Your clinical experience treating Autoimmune disorders and Alzheimer’s.
- Your experience with Nutrigenomic Prescribing and Interventions.
- Your experience prescribing liquid herbals.
- Your experience with formal presentations/seminars/lecturing/public education.
