About the role
Overlooking the coast with sweeping ocean views across the neighbouring golf course, Estia Health Mona Vale Beach evokes a relaxed and comfortable beachside ambience.
The building has been tastefully renovated to reflect its seaside location, enhanced by gentle, revitalising sea breezes that drift through the attractive rooms and internal courtyard with its resident budgerigars.
With strong support from the state and national operations and support teams, we are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual looking to consolidate and build on their leadership and management skills. The Facility Manager of Estia Health Mona Vale will be responsible for the operational success of the 54 bed facility.
As an experienced leader, the successful candidate will drive performance through outstanding people leadership, instilling a high-performance culture throughout the facility to ensure our residents receive the best quality care and services, employees are engaged and commercial goals are met.
About you
You’ll bring to the role your passionate and caring nature and you will have:
- Minimum of 5 years' management experience in a service delivery environment
- Well-developed leadership skills, with experience in managing a large team
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets and strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated people management skills including recruitment, rostering and capability development
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and sound knowledge of all facets of contemporary aged care including ACFI and accreditation processes
- Proficient computer skills and comfort with technology
- Tertiary qualified in business/management or a related field
- A strong understanding of Work Health and Safety and a commitment to keeping yourself and other safe and well
- The right to work in Australia
