An opportunity is available for a Health and Wellbeing Specialist to work in our Manufacturing site at GSK. The role is responsible for the development of our strategic and integrated wellbeing component of our overall Safety and Wellbeing program; to manage workplace risks to health and wellbeing and to support GSK's operational efficiency. This role is a 12-month full time contract with potential to extend depending on business demand.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a site wide wellbeing strategy that includes a holistic, innovative approach to health promotion and education, intervention, wellbeing identification, response processes and resourcing
  • Oversee the delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives to promote a wellbeing focused culture across the workforce and develop strategies to address any issues identified through these services
  • Develop programs and strategies to assist employees and managers in identifying early signs of stress, depression and anxiety related illnesses.
  • Implement health monitoring processes in accordance with GSK and legislative requirements
  • Support business with Health and Wellbeing advice
  • Organise annual vaccinations program for GMS and Commercial
  • Management of the First Aid Program
  • Provide reports to the Senior Leadership Team on health and wellbeing program activities.
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims early intervention, injury management, rehabilitation and Return to Work services in accordance with relevant legislation including claims processing and associated administration and deliver successful best practice return to work outcomes
  • Manage employee personal injury and illness cases; develop strategies to handle specific cases in consultation with the appropriate parties
  • Provide specialist advice and recommend strategies and solutions to safety matters


About you:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant allied health discipline
  • Wellbeing and Injury Management
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skill
  • Previous experience in writing/reviewing procedural documentation
