Occupational Therapist Level 1/2 - Inpatient Neuro/Rehabilitation Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Lvl 1 Remuneration: 61173 - 72018 Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ53739 A permanent, full time opportunity exists to join the Occupational Therapy Department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The Level 1/2 occupational therapist provides clinical services to inpatients referred for Occupational Therapy as part of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Designated caseloads include neurology, neurosurgery, inpatient rehabilitation and PICU. Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration. Postgraduate experience and knowledge in the area of paediatric neurosciences and/or rehabilitation. Demonstrated skills in upper limb rehabilitation, splinting/casting, equipment prescription and home/school modifications. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, time management skills and proven success in multidisciplinary team settings. Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within service demands.
