Radiation Therapist Level 2 - Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre Applications Close: 22 July 2018 Employment Type: Temporary Full Time, until 29 March 2019 Position Classification: Radiation Therapist Level 2 Remuneration: $63470.01 - $88625.3 Hours Per Week: 35 Requisition ID: REQ50484 What you'll be doing Provide accurate Radiation Therapy simulation, planning, treatment and quality assurance to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist consistent with NSW Health ISLHD policies, procedures and standards. This is a temporary full time maternity relief position until 29 Match 2019, with the possibility of an extension at same/reduced hours. Selection Criteria: Registered as a Radiation Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA). Hold (or be eligible for) a Radiation user licence IA13 with NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW EPA). Evidence of relevant experience in all areas of radiation therapy (simulation, planning, treatment and quality assurance). Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all disciplines within Radiation Oncology to provide a high standard of patient care. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team both locally and cross-site. Awareness of emerging techniques and evidence based research within the field of Radiation Therapy. Need more information?
