The Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinician will provide in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised rehabilitation knowledge to ensure high quality service provision to mental health consumers, consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.
To provide leadership in the provision of person centred, individually tailored, strengths based service provision to support the recovery process for people with mental health challenges.
To provide leadership and coordination of vocational programs and partnerships to ensure that best practice standards are implemented to maximise employment and educational options and outcomes.

• 1. Tertiary qualifications in, Social Work and eligible for membership of an appropriate professional body. Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy with AHPRA Registration
• 2. Extensive experience in mental health clinical and vocational rehabilitation with knowledge of best practice principles and models of practice; and ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group rehabilitation programs
• 3. Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation, and a strengths based and recovery focused approach in service provision.
• 4. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills with an ability to collaborate effectively within the Multidisciplinary Team and with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels
• 5. Experience in providing in-depth consultation, education and supervision to staff to enhance service excellence.
• 6. Advanced clinical reasoning skills and leadership in navigating challenging and complex consumer care situations.
• 7. Ability to initiate, lead, and implement quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
• 8. Current class C NSW Drivers Licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
