My client is a significant player in the life insurance market within Australia. With a continuous goal of innovation and improvement to their capability in leading the rehabilitation strategy this position will see you take an executive position in the claims leadership team.

The role will see you responsible for:

Designing, implementing and imbedding the rehab strategy for one of the largest life insurers in Australia
Designing the Psych strategy for claims management
Leading a large team (approx 50) via 5 direct managers and multiple locations
Setting the capability framework for the case management teams development
Directly managing the L&D, Rehab, Specialist and Technical Teams (each with its own manager)

You will be able to demonstrate

Significant leadership experience in leading leaders
An exceptionally strong rehab management career with particular focus on strategy development and execution
Experience in designing a rehab strategy within the rehab environment relating to Life Insurance
An overview of life insurance products and how rehab intervention can deliver strong results
Ideally an understanding of life insurance claims practices
Significant research capability and use of research to develop strategic plans
A motivational style with innovation passion to do things differently.
