The purpose of this role is to promote and provide quality social work service to clients, act as a resource person and facilitate professional development to staff through clinical activities.


About the role

• To promote the provision of quality social work to our clients
• To act as a resource person to all relevant staff
• To facilitate professional development of staff through clinical activities

What do we need from you?

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in psycho-social assessments
• Case management and crisis intervention experience
• Experience as a Level 2 Social Worker
• An understanding of Guardianship and Administration processes
• Experience in working with situations of elder abuse and neglect  
• Demonstrated ability in case planning and case conferencing
• Advanced report writing skills
• Previous experience facilitating complex client needs
• Highly developed communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Proven ability to work as a team and independently

Essential:

• A Degree in Social Work
• Eligibility for membership with AASW
• First Aid Certificate
