Permanent Part-Time | 50 hours per fortnight
Working under the direction of the Lifestyle Coordinator, the Therapy and Leisure Partner is responsible for the person-centred implementation of leisure, lifestyle and therapy activities with the residents at our Aged Care Facility. You will also work closely with the Occupational Therapist &/or Physiotherapist to deliver quality therapeutic interventions with our residents including the preparation, application and evaluation of programs and activities.
Previous experience is essential and must have a certificate III or higher as Occupational Therapy Assistant. Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of people with dementia in relation to leisure and therapeutic activities are essential.
The successful candidate must be able to work weekends.
