Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for a casual Pathology Aide to work in the Referred Tests department of our Wollongong Laboratory. The main duties include packing specimens for referral to other laboratories, computer entry of results and contacting referral laboratories for overdue results.
The successful applicant must be highly motivated, keen to learn and be able to work quickly and accurately in a buy team environment and have keyboard skills of at least 40wpm. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are also essential.
This is a casual position. After the initial training period, there are no set hours for this position. The department works between 7.30am and 8.00pm, Monday to Friday and daytime hours on Saturdays.
