WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND BUILD
  • They are currently seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead the ANZ business for their device portfolios which is expected to grow steadily in the coming 5 years, organically and through acquisition.
  • You will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing team and developing and executing business plans to accelerate growth, build a market leading position and meet and exceed customer requirements for the specified portfolio.
  • This position will hire, develop and motivate the team by ensuring clearly defined performance objectives are set and you will undertake coaching activities to build talent and improve the skills of the team to meet and exceed objectives.
  • You will develop strategic business plans for the business across ANZ to achieve short and long-term growth and establish a clear leadership position in key market segments through customer insights that identify significant gaps and lead to develop solutions that are differentiable, protectable and offer a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • You will spend some of your time in field developing business either directly or with distribution partners and lead the sales team to ensure the business plan is executed, including building a solid KOL network to support key therapies and brands, developing strong relationships with clinicians and hospital staff, creating clinical education and communication programs and providing effective sales tools to realize sales objectives.
  • You will also oversee day to day marketing activities such as forecasting, price maintenance, contract inputs, advertising and promotion budget management, product complaint input/review, monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting etc..
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • If you have a business and/or science degree with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role, overseeing a business nationally, within the medical device industry, and you have managed sales teams, ideally creating new sales teams/structures to support market expansion and growth initiatives, you are encouraged to call us or apply asap.
  • If you have experience managing distributors and you understand how to work with them to meet key business outcomes, this will be a distinct advantage.
